MAJOR INTERESTS

These are interests which I have a major attachment to and are the most likely to post artwork and writings for (or in the case of OIOH, working on a collaborative project to make it into a game)!

The SCP Wiki - (Collaborative Writing Project)

SCP is one of my favourite colelction of collaborative writing pieces on the Internet, mainly due to the sprawling and often complex, multi-faceted worldbuilding, mythos and character-work done on the SCP Wiki, which may not be what you thought of first when you heard "SCP". I implore everyone to put aside their prototypical understanding and explore the SCP Wiki to find something they'd enjoy, the wiki has a very diverse catalogue of works after all which can be found by searching up specific tags or exploring the Canon Hub and Tales Series Hub on the site. Some of my favourite include the On Guard 43, No Return and From 120's Archives canons!

Your Turn To Die - (Point & Click Visual Novel)

YTTD is one of the most important interests in influencing my interaction with fandom and stories, it holds a very special place in my heart. It's a great story about trauma and people which has a very special sort of comfort angst that is very emotionally poignant and expressive. It's free to play on Vgperson's website so I encourage you try it out! It's heavily influenced by other point-and-click visual novels like Danganronpa and Ace Attorney... of course, it's story hasn't finished yet :p See you all in 3-2!

One in One Hundred - (Fanfiction of the Above)

Is it silly to have a fanfic as one of my major interests? Perhaps, but I'm putting this here because it is probably my favourite piece of fan-media I've ever seen. It focuses on several characters who had less amount of screentime in canon, and thus has lots of interesting diverging and alternative interpretations of events throughout YTTD. If you're a YTTD fan to any capacity, I recommend reading this fic!

CURRENT INTERESTS

These are things which I'm currently interested in and may create fanwork for in the near future, but I'm also happy to recieve asks or even fanart/fanfic requests about them on Tumblr!

Homestuck - (Multimedia Webcomic)

A young man stands in his bedroom... definitely a work that deserved its fame on the Internet, which is why it's a shame I've only fully read it recently! Homestuck has a lot to offer in terms of unique storytelling, character work and interesting magic/power systems. It's a very expansive work which makes it hard to not think about so many different interweaving details and storylines. It has a very complex set of plots and narratives so it can be hard for many people to understand what's going on, but (un?)fortunately that's the sort of complexity I enjoy! Homestuck is now re-releasing pages so it's the best time to get into it, I'd say.

Deltarune - (Multi-Platform RPG)

Undertale's parallel story... and the best work of Toby Fox! Deltarune is a very fun game, from the bullet hell battles to the various minigames to the puzzles to the unfolding story, it's fun to play from a video-game perspective and fun to enjoy as a story with a narrative. And what a narrative it has, one could even call it meta. I personally enjoy the theory-side of this particular fandom more but I also think the many fancomics and creations putting the characters in light-hearted situations are very fun and are what makes the Deltarune fandom a cool place to be in! Now's the best time to get into it, as not only have Chapter 3 & 4 released but Chapter 5 is on the horizon...!

Of the Devil - (Point and Click Visual Novels)

A game that I'm currently reading through at the moment! But currently I enjoy it a lot, from the investigative/criminological angle on cyberpunk aesthetics and political dystopia to the harshly interesting artstyle and the cool characters!

MINOR INTERESTS

Interests which take a backseat in terms of fanwork or general obsession but am happy to talk about with anyone who wishes to.

Object Shows - (Web Series Genre)

A genre of web series which I have been interested in since I was a kid! I definitely share some of the stats/numbers obssession that Cary Huang, one of the creators of the original object show BFDI, has. I've enjoyed shows such as Inanimate Insanity and The Nightly Manor and am currently following BFDIA, BFDI:The Power of Two and ITFT (It's Time for The).

Animation v.s Animator - (Web Series Franchise)

Another thing I like that I've enjoyed for a very long time. It used to just be the amazingly well animated and dynamic fights but the narrative born out of and nestled in the Newgrounds culture of the Internet and its digital yet cartoon-ish aesthetic has got me hooked. And the Animation v.s Minecraft side-series is always fun to see.

MCYT - (YouTube Content Niche)

To be more specific, I enjoy videos from the Life Series, Lifesteal SMP and the creators who participate in those servers. Mainly because it's often very comedic and entertaining to watch. The main people I watch include Squiddo, Ashwag, Rekrap and Grian. I also like watching Kenadian's escape room videos...

Geometry Dash - (Sidescroller/Platformer Rhythm (?) Game)

While not exactly having a story like anything else on this left, it's a very fun and relaxing game. It has a wonderful community full of creators and it's always cool seeing what new designs and levels they create.

Dr. STONE - (Manga and Anime)

Probably my favourite manga out of the ones I've read, Senku is one of my favourite protagonists in all of fiction and I think Dr. Stone is a really unique manga with its hybrid of real world elements and comedy. Excited to see how its ending is adapted into the anime!

In Stars and Time - (Multi-Platform RPG)

A really good game about time loops. It has a very small set of characters to enjoy which is why it hasn't skyrocketed into a major interest however its storytelling and characters are very emotional, realistic and it does a great job expressing the feelings and message it wants to.

Pokemon (+ Pokemon Adventures) - (Multimedia Franchise and a Manga in that Franchise)

Not much to say about what it is, a majority of people on the Internet know what Pokemon is. I tend to like it for its very good designs for both characters and Pokemon, and I especially like the Pokemon Adventures manga for its unique takes on the plots seen in the game. Moreover, I enjoy thinking about cross-generational Pokemon worldbuilding!
